Quite Comfortable

My figurative work from a live model has a sense of immediacy because of the constraints under which it is produced. Because the pose will be for a limited time, I must have intense focus, so that each pencil stroke is efficient and correct, on the first try because I won’t get a second chance. My hope is that the excitement of that immediacy is felt by the viewer as well.
