2020 was a difficult year with the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and increasing political division. Isolated from friends and family, I found beauty where I had not previously focussed, in florals. My sweet neighbor supplies area florists from her beautiful garden up the road, and Poor Man’s Rose, a lisianthus, is one of the many varieties she grows.
