Kaitlin and Tom

Kaitlin and Tom were married on the beach in front of the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The late afternoon sun provided a beautiful glow to Kaitlin’s gown and her lace-embroidered sheer veil. The photographer helped me pose the couple for the photo they wanted painted. Ordinarily I paint as much as I can, live, while it is happening, but in this case, they asked for a static pose with just the two of them. The part I enjoyed the most was painting the impression of lace on her gown and on the edge of the veil.
