Paint With Me

It can be intimidating to paint en plein air by yourself, and frustrating if you are new to plein air! Paint With Me is perfect for plein air beginners, anyone uncomfortable painting alone, or simply those who would like some quiet company while painting. I try to paint en plein air at least once every week or two, within an hour’s drive of my home (presently Trenton, Maine, near Acadia National Park). Paint With Me is an invitation to paint together on location.
Included in each session:
- 2 hours painting alongside one another on location, en plein air
followed by… - A soft critique or discussion of your intention and progress on your painting
- Another half hour of painting to conclude the session
(There is no charge if we are just getting together to paint somewhere with no critique or suggestions, just contact me.)
In total, each session lasts approximately 3 hours, and you are welcome to stay on location to continue your work after the session has concluded.
This is the perfect opportunity for painters who want to practice painting en plein air but haven’t quite found the right way to make it a normal part of their schedule and routine. Making a commitment to paint with me might be just the motivation you need to start the habit!
