Live Event Painting

This live event painting worksheet is to be helpful to the artist, and not meant to add to anyone’s workload. If any of these can easily be provided, that’s great, but please don’t make it a chore for yourself. If you have any questions or want to send photos to me, please email

Thank you!

Joan Vienot Live Event Painter
Wedding, birthday, retirement party, graduation, reunion, gala…
Name(s) of the bride and groom, birthday person, or event honoree.
If you are not uploading photos today, you can email them to me at
You can also tell me about the style and colors of wedding gown, tux, bridesmaid’s dresses, groomsmen’s style, mother’s dress, etc. It’s useful to know anything special about the décor or venue: the building interior, notable geography if outdoors, arbor or flower trellis, chandelier, special lighting, etc. Casual photos of bride and groom, especially if showing their relative heights, are also useful.
For example, one bride was reminded of her recently passed grandmother whenever she saw a rainbow, so I found a glint of light running down one of the flower vases and painted a prism of rainbow colors in that thin strip of light. No guarantees, but I keep things like that in the back of my mind.
